Komen fundraising raising program; CPC is proud to be sponsoring a charity poker tournament on our November 20^th sailing on the Carnival Freedom. The goal is to raise $5,000 in support of this worth while cause. The statistics are still so frightening with this disease; one woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes and one woman will die of breast cancer every 13 minutes. Men, don’t think that you are exempt from this disease, an estimated 440 men died from this disease in 2009. Each of us knows someone who has suffered this horrible disease, and unfortunately many of us know a woman who has passed away from this plague. Crown Poker Cruises’ November 2010 Caribbean cruise falls over Thanksgiving, we will be giving thanks by hosting a charity poker tournament to benefit breast cancer research. Twenty-five percent is used to fund research and seventy-five percent is shared with affiliates across the country to be used in your locals areas for education, screening and treatment efforts!
